Here at Paging Fun Mums HQ, we adore slime! We’ve made Glow in the Dark Slime, Two Ingredient Slime, Glowing Minions Slime, Frozen Slime, Marshmallow Slime and many more!
I am always experimenting and testing out new slime recipes as my kids adore SLIIIIME! It keeps them busy and is a wonderful sensory activity!
To make your own Pearl Slime you will need:
I bottle of Elmers Glue (118ml) – white not clear
118 ml of water
1/2 teaspoon of Borax (I bought mine at Bunnings Hardware store for $8)
1/4 cup hot water
A packet of pearls (found at $2 & craft stores)
How to make it
Step 1
Pour your white elmer’s school glue into a bowl
Step 2
Fill that empty bottle with water and add to the bowl – mix until well combined
Step 3
Add in your the pearls and give it another good mix
Step 5
In a separate container/cup add 1/4 cup of hot water
Step 6
Add 1/2 teaspoon of Borax to the hot water & stir until it’s dissolved
Pour the Borax solution into the glue mixture in the bowl
Step 8
Stir and watch the magic happen! This is the part where your Silly Putty will start to take shape!
Step 9
Keep stirring until all of the mixture has turned into fabulous Girly, Pearly Slime!
Check out this video of my son demonstrating how to make Frozen Silly Putty! It makes it soooo much easier to understand how this is made. Once you have it mastered though, you can’t be stopped (trust me)!
