My friend recently threw her son a LEGO themed birthday party via Zoom. I think this is such a great option for kids who are stuck at home on their Birthday’s (thanks to Covid 19).
We all joined in on their online Zoom meeting with a pile of LEGO. The birthday boy had written a few themes for LEGO builds and placed them in a container. Once everyone was on Zoom he pulled a theme out of the container (Spaceship) and we all had 20mins to create our best Spaceship using LEGO.
The kids had a ball chatting as they got creative with their blocks.
The kids were squealing with excitement as the final 5mins was called! Then it was a countdown from 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1!!
Each child held up their creations in turns and then a winner was selected.
It was then time to all sing happy Birthday and watch Archie blow out his candles! We all had prepared a treat for our kids to enjoy and celebrate Archie’s big day.
I’m sure it’s a birthday he will remember for all the right reasons. Be sure to share this idea with your friends and family!
Perhaps if you don’t have LEGO you could host a craft party! Get creative!
