Pineapple Slushie - just two healthy ingredients!

This SIMPLE and SWEET Pineapple Slushie is so GOOD! Don’t tell my kids that it’s actually really good for them! Did you know that Pineapple juice has loads of health benefits? Read more about them here.

As for how to make this sweet refreshment – we buy Pineapples in lots of two, most fruit stores offer a discounted rate when yiou buy in bulk and our local store sells Pineapples two for $3! We usually cut them both and freeze half the chunks for making smoothies, slushies and healthy green juices.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of frozen Pineapple pieces
  • 1 cup of coconut water

Method –
Simply throw it all in a power blender or blitz in your food processor until it resembles a slightly creamy and super icy drink!

If you have any leftover they make great Ice Blocks – simply pour them into some moulds and place in the freezer to set.
