These Homemade Clay Gift Tags are so easy to make!
What you’ll need –
- Homemade clay – the recipe can be found here.
- Rubber tag stamp (these can be found in most scrapbooking shops)
- Ink
- Drinking straw
- Oven pre-heated to moderate (I used 150 degrees Celsius)
- Fine tip permanent marker
Instructions –
Roll out a small circle of clay (or use a round cookie cutter to make multiple shapes from a large section of clay). Ink the stamp pad and gently imprint the stamp into the clay, gently remove the stamp to reveal the design. Make a hole in the top using a drinking straw and then place on a wire rack in the pre-heated oven for 30mins.
Once they’ve cooled you can write names on them and add them to your gift wrap. I used brown paper, string and some wooden beads to complete this look.
I hope you enjoyed this tutorial and give these a go at home.
