Frozen inspired Scratch Art

Frozen inspired scratch art

I have recently worked out how to make our own scratch art at home! It’s so simple and sooo much FUN!

We did a very cute Easter Egg Scratch Art Video tutorial that you can watch here.

Living in a ‘Frozen obsessed’ household, I decided to try my hand at some Frozen themed scratch art & it turned out beautifully!

We have all the details below on how you can make this awesome Frozen Scratch Art in our blog, but make sure you head to our easy Video Tutorial below to make it even easier!

To make your own you will need:

Watercolour paper (I bought mine from my local craft store)

Oil pastels

Black Acrylic Paint

Paint brush

Scratching tool

How to do it:

Step 1

Make some swirl patterns using your oil pastels onto your watercolour paper – I used dark & light blue. Make sure you leave no whit space.

Step 2

Paint the entire page with the black acrylic paint and let it dry (I left mine over night but it should only take a few hours)

Step 3

Once the paint dries, take your scratching tool and make the shape of a beautiful Frozen Snowflake (watch the video above to see how)

Step 4

Marvel at your work that Elsa would be proud of!
