Oh my! These are to die for! They make a great party food, kids play date treat, or just because! My kids love them…of course they do! We don’t have them all the time, but when we do, it is on like donkey kong…and that’s just me lol!
To make your own you will need:
250g chocolate milk drops/chocolate buttons
1 can/sweetened condensed milk (395g)
200g mini marshmallows
300g peanuts (you can switch these out for any nuts you like)
Directions
Step 1
In a large microwave safe bowl, add your chocolate chips and condensed milk
Step 2
Place in the microwave for 1 minute then stir. Add for a further 20 seconds and stir and continue doing so until the chocolate has completely melted
Step 3
Dump in your marshmallows and nuts and stir until well combined
Step 4
Pour your mixture into a lined baking pan (I used a square one 21cm x 21cm) and squash down with a spatula
Step 5
Place in the fridge for a few hours (or the freezer to move things along faster)
Step 6
When set, lift the Rocky Road out using the baking paper and cut into squares or rectangles to serve!
Yummy!
