That’s right! One Pan Pasta Recipe!
I found this deliciously divine and ever so easy recipe on the Martha Stewart website. She is master of many things but this Pasta is definitely waaaaay up there! Seriously, pop the ingredients into a pot and dinner is done and dusted in 9 minutes! It’s great for a school night and feeds my family of 4 easily (and very happily)!
I couldn’t keep this amazing recipe to myself so I just HAVE to share it with YOU! Our very precious Fun Mums! So let’s get to it shall we?!
Ingredients
350 grams of fettuchini pasta
1 punnet of cherry tomatoes – quartered
1 white onion thinly sliced
4 cloves of garlic thinly sliced
1/2 teaspoon of chilli flakes
A handful of fresh basil, plus a little extra for garnish
2 tbs of olive oil
1 tsp of salt (I used sea salt Mmmmm!)
1/4 tsp of freshly cracked pepper
4 and 1/2 cups of water
Freshly grated parmesan cheese for serving
Method
Step 1
Put all of the kids in the pool! That is, place the pasta, tomatoes, onion, garlic, chilli flakes, basil, oil, salt, peppa and water into a large frying pan.
Step 2
Bring to a boil over high heat and whilst boiling, stir/turn the pasta with tongs for approximately 9 minutes until the pasta is ‘al dente’.
Step 3
Divide into bowls & sprinkle with chopped basil and parmesan!
How super easy is that! Just wait until you try it though! So delicious, so easy & so loved! How can this possibly be?
YUMMY!!
My kids & hubby seriously devour this and that makes me so happy! Let’s face it, all I’ve done is thrown a few inexpensive ingredients into a pan and in their eyes, I’ve instantly become a finalist in Master Chef! Win/win I say!
This can be served with hot crusty bread too (if you are that way inclined ; )
