Here’s a yummy Anzac Day treat that the kid’s will enjoy…especially packed into their lunch box!
Miss 5 came home from school this week FULL of information about the upcoming Anzac Day commemoration – she asked if we could make a special batch of Anzac Biscuits. Unfortunately I’ve never had success making a good Anzac Biscuit…the problem being we all enjoy a soft and chewy cookie!! So I said we could test out this recipe here instead!
We were not disappointed! We baked the slice for 25 mins and it was perfect! A nice and firm slice without being too crunchy…and boy oh boy was it FULL of Anzac flavour!!
You can find the full recipe here on Taste.com.
I should also add that lasts up to a month in the freezer – perfect to pop into the school lunches directly from the freezer!
We hope you and your kids enjoy your Anzac Day weekend…you might choose to whip up a batch of this yummy slice!
