I could seriously eat this dish every single night of the week…my husband and kids would happily join me too! It’s very easy to make and the taste is like no other!
This recipe serves 4 and can be served with rice or crusty bread!
Ingredients
1kg uncooked/green prawns
12 cloves of crushed garlic
1 cup chicken stock
1/2 cup white wine (I use champagne)
300ml cream
1tbs flour
1/2 teaspoon mustard powder
Salt & pepper to season
Handful of chopped parsley to serve
Method
Step 1
Peel and devein your prawns
Step 2
Heat butter and garlic in a medium saucepan
Step 3
Add the flour and stir until well combined (approximately 2 minutes)
Step 4
Add stock, cream & wine and stir again until well combined
Step 5
Bring mixture to the boil and add mustard powder & salt and pepper
Step 6
Add the prawns and cook for 5 minutes or until cooked through
Step 7
Serve in large bowls sprinkled with parsley. Enjoy!

YUM!! I reckon my kids will love this recipe. They are starting to eat more seafood these days (I’m a huge fan and I want them to follow suit). I reckon I’ll mix their prawns into some rice for the first few goes. My mouth is watering reading this!
