I love to make tasty treats for the kids that are healthy – I especially like it when they are simple and inexpensive to make too. This recipe ticks all of those boxes!
To make your own you will need:
250g dark choc chips
1/2 cup peanuts (you could substitute these for cashews, almonds or any other nut you like)
1/2 cup dried cranberries
Step 1
Melt the chocolate in a bain marie
Step 2
Take off the heat and let the chocolate cool a little
Step 3
Add the nuts and dried cranberries and stir until well combined
Step 4
Using a tablespoon, spoon your mixture out one dollop at a time onto a lined baking tray
Step 5
Place in the refrigerator for 30 minutes until set
These are great for parties, play dates, school excursions and would make a lovely teacher gift too!
Can you think of any other yummy things to add into clusters?
