We’ve been road testing the amazing product ‘Model Magic‘ by Crayola this week. It is similar to play doh except… it’s nothing like it! It’s light and airy and sooo easy to mould! It is the ULTIMATE modelling material for a wide range of hands-on learning projects & moulding/sculpting activities. The colours mix so well so it also acts as a great teaching aid for colour theory!
It air dries to a smooth, resilient finish so there’s no kiln or oven required! The BEST part is, it doesn’t stain or cling to little fingers OR bench tops, carpet & anything else! I don’t know how they made it, but it really is remarkable!
We gave it a run for it’s money this week & made a very adorable Peppa Pig figurine. It was so easy to do. The kids will be impressed when they see you’ve whipped this up for them! In fact, they could even make it themselves!
Did you know that Crayola’s Markers and Paints can be used on Model Magic (once dried) for extra special finishing touches? Awesomeness!
Check out our video tutorial to make it even easier to learn how to make your own adorable Peppa Pig figurine – it’s at the top of this post!
You can see how easy it is to make by looking at the above images too!
We hope you enjoyed this tutorial! What would you make using model magic? Let us know via comments below.

I know you had a recipe on your website for femo clay as well as clay that you make with cornstarch and stasoft. I can’t find it. Will it be possible for you to leave me the link to these recipes please. I enjoy your page so much. Thank you very much for your hard work.
