We love anything glow in the dark at Paging Fun Mums central! We’ve made DIY Glowing Foam Paint, a super fun Glowing Water Blob, Glowing Bath Paint, DIY Glow in the Dark Glitter, Glowing Chalk Paint and Glow in the dark Playdough!
There are so many fun ways to experiment! All you need is a blue light and you are ready to go!
To make your own Glow in the dark canvas you will need:
Canvas
Glow in the dark/fluro paint
Black Light
I actually poured our paint into little plastic shot glasses to make it easier for the kids to handle – this is optional.
I placed the canvas over a large tray to catch the drips & let my little guy pour his paint away. It was fun to watch the paint ooze down the canvas..we even had a few ‘paint races’ to see which colour would get to the bottom first!
Do this over and over until you are happy with your ‘art’.
Then wait for night time, flick off the lights turn on your blue light! It looks soooo amazing!
It still looks pretty cool without the black light – so it’s still great by day…it’s just extra magical at night!
