When my son decided he wanted a Robot Themed Birthday Party, I was a little excited! I went trawling through Pinterest to get some inspiration. I was able to create a very cool Robot vibe quite cheaply as most of things I have used are recyclables (one for the environment too : )
These were made using baby formula cans spray painted silver with nuts and bolts glue gunned to their face! For their mouths I googled ‘heart monitor images’ and had a load of options to choose from.
If you would like the recipe for the ‘Marshmallow/Robot Pops click here. If you would like to learn how to make the ‘Jiggle Bots’, click here.
This was once a clear serviette holder that I had bought for $2 at a discount store. I spray painted the outsides with silver spray paint then added googly eyes and the ‘printable’ mouth.
For my serving bowls, I used very inexpensive plastic bowls from the discount store, spray painted them with silver spray paint and again used googly eyes & a printable for the mouth : )
I love these lanterns! I bought them very cheaply on Ebay from Hong Kong then decorated them with googley eyes, the printable for the mouth & two silver pipe cleaners for the ears/antennas….(to make the ‘spiral’ effect, you just twist them around your finger : )
I LOVE this cupcake stand! I am so happy with how it turned out! You can find all of the step by step details on how I made him here.
I think this guy is my favourite. I have written a full tutorial for him also, learn how I made him here.
I really enjoyed planning this party and Master 5 was one happy little man! If you want to find out more about the party you can check it out here.

My name is Jillian Tohber Leslie and I am the founder of Catch My Party (http://catchmyparty.com/). I’ve recently begun blogging about parties and party planning for Spoonful (http://www.spoonful.com), the Disney family website.
I’m putting together a post for Spoonful on Robot Parties and I was wondering if I can include a photo from this post in my post. I will of course link back to your blog. Spoonful is a super popular site, so it’s a great way to gain increased exposure.
Let me know what you think. If you’re okay with it, I’ll email you once the post is up on Spoonful so you can check it out and share it with your friends.
Best,
Jillian
