Sand Activity Packs
I was so happy to have found this great product while browsing Facebook late one night – I have witnessed Sand Art in use at local fairs and markets in the past but had never seen it packaged for Kid’s Birthday Parties!
I was thrilled to be able to order everything I needed online – including some personalised Thank you cards :). The online store & checkout process was super easy to navigate and only took a couple of minutes to complete.
It was hard to choose from all the terrific themes available from ‘Beach’, ‘Dino’, ‘Flowers’ & more…in the end I chose the Dragon image as it would best suit our ‘Princess’ theme and would also be a great universal image for the boys and girls – plus my daughter LOVES dragons!
It all arrived within the week and I was thrilled to see that absolutely EVERYTHING that needed was included in the packs – from the detailed instructions right down to the toothpicks to help peel the layers from the sticky sections.
We set up a long table craft table outside and covered it with the tablecloth supplied – as well as all the sands and sheets. Most of our guests were 5 years old or under so we had two adults at each end of the table helping to ‘peel’ each layer as the kids added their sand. The adults were equally as impressed as to how easy and hassle free this craft activity was.
The weather wasn’t great and I was so glad we had arranged such an awesome craft activity to keep the kids entertained so the parents could mingle – we got straight into the craft as soon as all the guests were arriving and this helped to get a few of the more ‘shy’ kids to come out of their shells and get comfortable. It was also a great ice breaker for the adults. The kids and adults were all engaged and chatting whilst creating their projects.
The sand activity was easy, well thought out and FUN but best of all the end results looked amazing! They also proved to be a great ‘take home’ gift with not a single one being left behind!
