My kids (like every other child in the world) loooooves Ice Cream! When I came across this recipe to make healthy ice creams I was all over it! Guess what?! The kids devoured them!
To make your own you will need:
1 cup milk
1 cup water
1/2 cup honey
1/4 cup cocoa
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp butter (unsalted) – (this makes it nice & creamy)
Ice block containers
Step 1
Place all ingredients in a saucepan over medium heat
Step 2
Cook and stir until butter is melted – this will take about 5 mins
Step 3
Remove from the heat and let it sit for 15-20 mins
Step 4
Pour your mixture into your ice block containers – to make things easier, transfer your ingredients into a large measuring cup or jug before doing this.
Step 5
Pop into the freezer for 4-5 hours or overnight
Step 6
Watch your kids adore these special treats!
I hope your kiddies enjoy these as much as mine do!

Great recipe. I can easily replace the milk with Almond milk or coconut milk. Thanks for sharing this!
They look awesome! We’ve got a few scorchers coming in Melbs soon I’ll have to make some!
I made these yesterday, don’t have any ice cream holders though so poured it into an IceCube tray, works just as well and my son LOVES it!
