This Kid Made Tea Towel Keepsake is a great way to preserve special recipes that children enjoy making! My daughter loves making these Jam Drops so we chose to write the recipe on a tea towel using fabric markers. We folded the tea towel in half to showcase the recipe on one side when hung on our oven handle. She drew a drawing on the opposite side too.
I purchased the tea towels from Spotlight, I washed and ironed them before we started to use the fabric markers, I then ‘set’ the colour as per the instructions on the markers – ironing the reverse side with the iron on the cotton setting. I’ve since washed them and am happy to report the Crayola Fabric Markers stayed lovely and bright.
We hope you enjoy this keepsake idea! We think it would make a lovely gift too! you might also enjoy these other keepsakes!
