Well we have had a bit of a Metamorphosis happen at our house! Do you remember our Cute Caterpillar Craft? Well they have just grown into Butterflies! We found a way (thanks to lovely Pinterest) to turn our crawly critters into gorgeous Valentines Day gifts using Red Hearts, ‘Love Bug’ Chocolates, Raspberries & more! Aren’t they the cutest?!. These little ones will be finding their new home at the Grandparents house this Feburary 14th!
They are so simple to make! All you need are your
Lollies – I found Chocolate Hearts, Chocolate Love Bugs, Raspberries & Strawberries & Creams. They have to be red for Valentines Day!
Clear plastic lolly bags (you could also use sandwich bags)
Pipe cleaners

Then it’s just a matter of filling the bags with your chosen lollies/chocolates – Master L just loved doing this part! It was more of a ‘one for the bag, one for me’ exercise!. I then stapled the open end together, then split the bag in half (roughly) and clipped on the peg!
Master L then shaped the antennae by wrapping the Pipe Cleaners around his finger. I then added craft glue to the back of the peg & secured the Pipe Cleaners.
You could add anything to these Butterfly Treats! You could do them for your kids lunch boxes with grapes, cherries or tiny teddies as a nice little surprise! You could use them as party favours, an addition to the Picnic Basket. The possibilities are endless! Do you have any gift ideas that you will be making for Valentine’s Day? We’d love to hear!

I think all your crafts are just so easy and lovely. I am going to Morocco and into schools and a orphanage and was looking for crafts to show the children. Your sight is the best. Thankyou so very very much. trish
