We went to the premier of the new kid’s movie ‘Ferdinand’ on the weekend. Here’s what you need to know before you head to the box office over the school holidays.
FERDINAND tells the story of a giant bull with a big heart. We follow his story as he grows from a gentle young buck to a full grown (yet still gentle) bull with lot’s of great story twists and turns along the way. After being mistaken for a dangerous beast, he is captured and torn from his home. Determined to return to his family, he rallies a misfit team on the ultimate adventure.
Set in Spain, Ferdinand proves you can’t judge a bull by its cover.
My kids aged 9 & 5 both loved this movie and so did I! It was full of action, laughter and just the occasional sad moment that leads to a wonderful happy ending. We would highly recommend this move for the school holidays! Check out the trailer below.
Giveaway time!! We have one family pass (4 in-season tickets in each prize) to giveaway to two lucky readers. Simply comment on this blog answering the following question in 25 words or less – “What’s the most compassionate thing you’ve seen you child do?”.
Winners will be drawn on Tuesday 19th at 11:59pm. T&Cs apply, see below.

My son is a very sensitive and compassionate child. He is always telling me he loves me and throwing his arms around me because he thinks I look like I need a hug. He’s 10. I was particularly proud of him when he was in a running race and stopped running to help up another child who had tripped over. They came last together. I nearly burst with pride.
