I found this idea at ‘Crafty Soccer Mom’ and loved it!
My 4yo boy loves Angry Birds so why not add a bit of extra fun to his story time.
These are so easy to make, fun for the kids to do and would also make a great little gift for school friends!
All you need is:
A few sheets of A4 cardboard (red, black, yellow & orange)
Some googley eyes
Scissors &
Craft Glue
First, fold the top right corner of the card over towards the centre of the card to create a perfect square (when you fold an A4 sheet like this, your square size will be 47cm x 47cm (18.5 inches x 18.5 inches).
Cut off the bottom of the card (the rectangle piece) to create your ‘perfect square’.
Fold this in half to create a triangle (as above).
Now take the right corner and fold it up to the center point of the triangle..and the left corner and fold it up so that now you have a diamond.
Unfold the last two steps..now take the top part of the triangle and fold down to the center…leaving the back side alone.
