As you all know we love Halloween, I mean any excuse to dress-up and gather with family and friends right? This year we turned some large yoghourt tubs into some spooky cool DIY Halloween Lanterns! Yes, we eat a lot of yoghourt in our house and Jalna is our favourite…not even sponsored, we just LOVE the stuff!
Anyways, here’s how to turn your yoghourt tubs (big or small) into some cool Halloween decorations!
What you’ll need –
- Clean recycled yoghourt tub (or any other container that resembles a lantern shape)
- Orange tissue paper
- PVA Glue
- Battery operated LED candle
- string
- hole punch
- black permanent marker
Instructions –
Simply cover the outside of the container with glue and layer on the tissue paper, do the same for the lid (it doesn’t matter how neat or messy it looks). Leave it to dry overnight before drawing on some spooky faces using a permanent marker. Use a hole punch to make a hole on either side of your lantern to tie some string for a handle. Insert the battery operated candle, replace the lid and go trick or treating with your cool lanterns to light the way!
