The Ginger Factory Kid’s Party Review

Kids Party at The Ginger Factory

This party review is brought to you by The Ginger Factory. All thoughts and opinions are our own.

We love kid’s birthday parties here at Paging Fun Mums! We’ve hosted some pretty amazing parties in the past for my daughter but this year we were all VERY busy and her birthday happened to fall on the School Holidays – what a perfect time to celebrate with her friends at The Ginger Factory!

I headed straight to their website where I was able to locate all the information regarding their parties. I was even able to download and print some cute party invitations!

The Ginger Factory have a large number of birthday party options (you can see them all here), we chose to include the Bee Show as despite having visited The Ginger Factory many times in the past we had never seen the show. We also chose to take the kids on the rides and decorate some Ginger Bread Men.

The much anticipated day came, after many “How many sleeps until my party?” questions from Miss 7! We were upset to find out that it was raining but also relieved to know that The Ginger Factory is mostly undercover so it needn’t dampen our spirits.

We met our close friends and family and the headed straight to the Bee Show! You can see some footage that we shot LIVE on the day here. I can’t believe it had taken us so long to see this show, the kids (and adults) were amazed to learn about bees, it was as entertaining as much as it was educational!

They have some amazing viewing areas where you can see directly into the bee hives and all the bees are free to come and go whenever they please. They must be very happy at The Ginger Factory though – their flower and garden displays are AMAZING!

As soon as the Bee Show ended we headed into the Party Room! This party room is every child and parents’ dream! Spacious and colourful with a giant ‘Pin the Button on the Ginger Bread Man’ poster and party hats as far as the eye can see!

So what makes this party room a parent’s dream I hear you ask? Well there is a separate room with a large glass window where hot coffee and tea awaits! You can enjoy a cuppa and chat with the adult guests whilst you watch the kids play pass the parcel, dancing games and lots, lots more! We enjoyed being able to wonder in and out of the party room whilst still being able to take advantage of a nice cuppa with friends.

The Ginger Factory have a HUGE range of party foods available, you can see the full list here. We LOVED the home-style sausage rolls, Ginger Bread Fairy Bread and Strawberry skewers the best!

Soon enough it was time for the cake. The Ginger Factory supplied the cake as part of the package and it looked amazing and tasted even better!

After everyone’s tummies were satisfied we left on the next leg of our adventure, the Overboard Boat Ride and Train ride! Both of these rides are BIG family favourites, we’ve been visiting for years and a visit is never complete without a ride on both.

Lastly, it was time to decorate some Ginger Bread men! I know this was a highlight for a lot of the kids as they were each able to decorate a Ginger Man to take home and enjoy.

What a wonderful way to celebrate a birthday with friends! We have no hesitation in recommending The Ginger Factory for any special event or Birthday party! Everything is so well maintained, clean and the staff are beyond happy and helpful! You can find all the party or general admission information on their website here.
