This Nature Inspired Reindeer Craft was such a special keepsake made by my 2 year old son while he was at daycare! I asked their permission to share these photos and they agreed…it really is too cute not to share??! Don’t panic if you can’t find the exact things in your backyard – I’m sure most if these items could be substituted in some way.
What you’ll need –
- Air Drying Clay
- Twigs and sticks of varying sizes
- mini Gumnuts or seeds (for eyes)
- a red seed for Rudolf’s nose
Instructions –
Form two balls from the clay – one for the body and one for the head. Insert 4 stick legs into the main body and a few finer twigs for the antlers, attach the head to the body with an extra twig as a joiner. Squish in two mini gumnuts for the eyes and lastly a red seed for the nose. Leave to dry…it’s that simple! I love that I can see his little fingerprints when I look very closely at the Reindeer – such a special keepsake and memory!
