What a precious keepsake to make for a personalised gift or to have hanging in the family home. Our Grandparents are so precious to us so we wanted to make them something extra special.
We all holidayed together last year and got some beautiful family photos. This photo features Granny and ‘Paga’ (Grandpa) and all of their Grandchildren. Its such a special image so I wanted to do something extra special to show it off. You can learn how to make this Beautiful Family Canvas by following the my instructions 🙂
To make your own you will need:
A canvas
Photo frame
Photo
Flower embellishment
Scrapbooking backing paper
Paper doilies (approximately 8 small ones)
Stick on letters (I bought mine from Spotlight)
Mod Podge glue
Paint brush
Glue Gun
Step 1
Using the modge podge, paste on your scrapbooking sheet
Step 2
Add another layer of the modge podge and add on your paper doilies in a flower pattern.
Step 3
Add another layer of the modge podge then stick on your letters. I added another layer of the glue over the top and let it dry over night
Step 4
Place your photo into the frame and using the glue gun add on your flower embellishment
Step 5
Using the glue gun glue, secure the frame to the canvas
Step 6
Enjoy giving this special canvas to a very special loved one!
