My family and I needed a break! My husband works crazy hours, I’m running a business and I have two precious babies…what we needed was a well deserved break!
The best place we could have gone to was the Paradise Resort on the Gold Coast. The kids have a giant waterpark and all the activities they could ask for and the parents have a haven to enjoy watching their kids have fun whilst enjoying each others company. If the parents are happy, the kids are happy and if the kids are happy, then the kids are happy…it’s a win, win WIN!
This is what the kids are greeted with upon arrival! Parents can enjoy checking in whilst the kids have a ball on the playground. It’s the perfect start to a fun family holiday!
Once we were checked in, we went to explore our room.
We had a Superior Junior Bunkhouse which is perfect for our family of four. The kids had their own ‘room’ with bright colourful bunk beds (which they took turns in sharing the top bunk). Their room had an Xbox 360 and they could hire a game a day for FREE! My 7 yo son was very impressed with that.
The room comes with a large bathroom which is very modern and neat AND we had a separate room with a queen bed, a flat screen, table & chairs AND a balcony. We loved that idea. The kids were so exhausted after their days at the water park they were in bed way before our bed time. So we chose to sit on the balcony and sip champagne whilst they slept. I think that’s why it’s called Paradise Resort 🙂
Can you believe how awesome this is! A water park in the middle of a hotel, in the middle of the Gold Coast!
The water park is surrounded by comfortable deck chairs and tables and the Poolside Cafe and Bar & Juice Bar are right next to it. You can order delicious Pizzas, Burgers, Drinks, Ice-Cream and much more all day and enjoy them right by the pool #winning.
There are so many things for the kids to do with a running list of activities for the kids to choose from! Here they are having a jelly eating contest! It was hilarious!

The list of things to do is truly awesome! Let’s not forget the Dunk Tank either…
Or Laser Tag! I’m not kidding, yep, there’s actually Laser Tag!
The Paradise Resort Mascots do a daily show too with singing, dancing and a spot of comedy for the Mums and Dads too.
The staff get dressed up on particular days… I just loved these two! It’s so much fun! All of the staff are helpful, friendly and have a blast whilst they’re working, it’s so fun to experience!
You can even go Ice Skating on REAL ICE in the Resort’s Planet Chill. There are 3 sessions per day (2 hours each). Skate & helmet hire are included along with these cute penguins to help the smaller children learn. Oh and if you’re a fan of Justin Bieber (which I am) you will LOVE the loud music!
As part of your stay, you have 4 hours per day of FREE child minding. The kids get to hang out at the Kids Club painting, singing, driving the pedal cars, making crafts, playing games and having the times of their life whilst the Mums & Dads can go out and have a relaxing dinner or take in the sites of the Gold Coast! At night, the pool area gets turned into yet another fun zone. They screen movies, host dance parties and Buffet BBQ’s and have roving entertainers such as the AH-MAZING Nickleby the Magician! He does an amazing show once a week and the adults laugh almost as hard as the kids. He is truly hilarious!
I honestly can not recommend Paradise Resort enough. It has everything a family looking for fun needs!
