I’m a busy Mum of two that runs a full time business from home. I barely have time to read a magazine let alone spend hours on my hands and knees cleaning my bathroom every day! Let’s also be honest here, if I did have spare time, I sure as heck wouldn’t be spending it cleaning the bathroom!

For me, I use Dettol Healthy Clean Bathroom Rapid Foam! It is really versatile and it can be used on so many different surfaces! I use it on:
- My shower doors and screens
- Bath tub
- Tiles (floor and wall)
- Sink
- Bathroom vanity (counter) tops
- Taps (which are stainless steel) Taps
I also love the Lime scent it gives my bathroom – long after I have cleaned it, it always smells fresh & clean!
The best part is, I simply spray and walk away! It penetrates all of the soap scum, toothpaste left overs & other grubby bits, then I come back in a few minutes to wipe it away and rinse it thoroughly with water. BAZINGA!
As the Dettol website says this stuff “is a foaming formula that kills 99.9 per cent of germs*”. The formula has a foaming action for easy and hygienic cleaning of large bathroom surfaces. It sprays a wide and encompassing area of foam that covers all the soap scum and dirt – without having to empty the whole can! WORK WHILST YOU BRUSH YOUR TEETH
What else are you doing whilst brushing your teeth besides staring at yourself in a mirror? Ain’t nobody got time for dat! Wipe down the vanity with your spare hand and put away any toys, make up & lotions where they belong & put any dirty clothes into the laundry basket! Multi tasking at its best people (I like to think of this as a little exercise too – I can get a lot done in the time I brush my teeth – get a little sweat up).
CLEAR THE CLUTTER
If you have pretty little vases, statues or nick knacks in your bath room – SAY GOODBYE to them. They take up room making your bathroom look cluttered and they gather dust like no mans business! You will save so much time not having these at all!
KEEP A SQUEEGEE IN THE SHOWER
After each shower, give the glass a quick squeegee down! It takes less than a minute & it will prevents soap scum build up. I even get my kids to do this one!
USE YOUR STEAM
When you get out of the shower and the cabinet doors & mirrors are all steamed up, wipe them down with a rag – this will leave you with bright, clear mirrors in under 30 seconds!
KEEP BATH TOYS IN ONE TUB
If you have kids like mine, then you will have piles of bath toys! I have one tub which houses these toys – those that don’t fit, don’t get played with. I check them on a weekly basis for mould & if I see a speck I’ll either clean it or bin it – simple. The kids put all of their toys back into the tub after their bath.
THE STRAY SOCK TRICK
You know all of those stray socks that are missing partners? I keep them in a bag & I put one of those socks on my hand and go over the toilet top every day – it keeps the dust at bay & the toilet stays clean & tidy AND it takes me about 30 seconds!
