Sparkle Snow

Sparkle Snow

This is so lovely for the kids to play with. It feels like sand but it’s glittery! So pretty! My little girl loves this recipe! I usually have the ingredients at home so when the “I’m bored” happens, I whip this up for her!

The two ingredients are:

Table Salt

Silver Glitter

That’s it!

You can ‘guestimate’ the measurements, but I generally use 2 cups of table salt with one packet of glitter (25g).

Mix it together well and add it to a sensory tub (we use those inexpensive clear storage bins you get from the $2 stores).

Then let the kids go for it. My little one likes to make ‘Elsa Sand Castles’ and likes the sensation of it pouring from her hands!

  1. I use this with some baking soda in it when I make Santa’s footprints on Christmas Eve. The smaller the glitter, the better! Love it!

  2. Can you place this on Artificial trees ( for a church stage winter theme) then shake it off easily and restore the trees for another yr., or does stick to the tree limbs once applied?
