Nutella Fudge

Nutella Fudge

We are nutty for Nutella at Paging Fun Mums…who isn’t!?

Check out our video tutorial for Banana & Nutella Sushi below! Mmmmmmm!

Just when you thought it couldn’t get any better than eating it straight off a spoon…it turns out it does…behold the Nutella Fudge! Ooooh, ahhhh ; ) This recipe has only 5 ingredients & takes only 10 minutes to make!

Nutella Fudge

Ingredients

1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
230 grams of chocolate chips
1 cup Nutella
45 grams of unsalted softened butter cut up into small pieces

Method

Line an 8×8 inch baking pan with baking paper paper leaving a couple of inches sticking up on each side (so you can lift the chilled fudge out of the pan).

Heat a large pot with boiling water & add a glass bowl on top (the water in the pot should not touch the glass bowl). Turn down to simmer.

Add all of the kids into the pool (place all of the ingredients into the bowl ; )

Gently simmer the water and stir the mixture until the chocolate chips are melted and the mixture is smooth – this will take between  5 and 7 minutes.

Scrape the mixture into the lined pan and smooth the top with a spatula.

Refrigerate until the fudge is firm, at least two hours.

Using the overhanging parchment paper, lift the fudge out of the pan.

Cut the fudge into square sized pieces and you have yourself the most sought after party food & special treat for the kids EVER!

Nutella Fudge

It’s extra delicious (and pretty) if you sprinkle over a little icing sugar! Mmmmm.

You can also store your Nutella Fudge in the fridge in an airtight container for 3 days!

  1. Um, question! Does Nutella still use Palm Oil in its production, that comes from the trees robbing Orangutans of their rainforests? Do you have a sunstitute that we can use?

    1. Hi Andrea, there are many homemade versions that you can find via google – I hear the thermomix recipe is fantastic!

      1. Hi & thank you for the answer. Do you need a thermomix to make the recipe? They cost $2000, that’s an awful lot of fudge I’d need to make 🙂
