As it was my beautiful little boy’s last day of kindy today…sniff, sniff. I was a little nostalgic. I found his favourite book (“Hairy Maclary from Donaldson’s Dairy” by Lynley Dodd) and asked his lovely teacher/s to write a little something about him inside the first page. I want to do this every year, with every teacher, principal, tutor, coach, instrument teacher etc until the end of his schooling years and present it to him on his graduation from high school. I will also do the same for my little girl. It will be my little secret – between me and you ; ) I hope he (and little Miss A) will be able to read all the lovely words written about them and truly understand what special people they are!
